Mercedes A class central locking?

Hi.The central locking on my a class locks all he doors except one. Although the button has gone down, the door can be opened. This sets off the alarm. A fried says it might be a servo motor but is there any cheaper possible solutions?

Most likely it is the locking mechanism that has gone faulty. I've just had the same problem. Eventually the lock will start "bouncing" when you try to lock it. I had to replace the complete locking mechanism (£94 +vat from MB)

Hi there,
Go to http://www.aclassinfo.co.uk/mypage.3.htm

This will take you to Bert Rowes-A-class,go to index and then Frequently asked questions, scroll down and look for all the ones with reference to central locking.
Hope you find solution
