washing machine is dead !?

washing machine is dead , we have a power supply. found a broken wire in the loom which had been rubbing on the drum , repaired the wire but fault still there , is there an internal fuse.

There is a good chance the rubbed wire has shorted the power or control module and that is not repairable, Look at £100 + for replacement.

I have a similar problem but I know the module is damaged. My £100 will be going toward a new machine or a good second hand.

~~beats me how a £250 machine can have two modules that cost £100 each to replace and a motor that is similarly expensive. Doesn't add up.
