Peugeot looxor 125 starting?

Hi guys I have a peugeot looxor 125 and after leaving it still for a day it would be difficult to start. It did it alot of times and found that it was the battery. I checked for leak and it's giving me about 4ma from earth terminal to negative when it's led lights. Is this ok with these scooters?
Thanks

2 very common faults on the looxor 125! here you go, 4milliamperes is exactly what it should drain so that is perfect, charge rate ideally is 14.2 under load! these bikes use the piaggio leader engine fitted in the vespa et4 and are not common place to have faulty stators! the 2 faults i normally come across, are the fuel vaccum pipe that goes on to the crankcase inlet itself, stops the fuel tap opening for the fuel to get t o the engine, so pull it off, quick suck and it should then start, another fault they have is the earth inbuilt into the facomsa clocks, this can stop them from running but very hard to find and rare to come across unless they have had an ingress of water in them!!! lots more checks required before you replace them so tread carefully

Hi adam bike doctor thanks for your help. Today I tested it as you told me and it's only giving 13.3vdc charging. What do you think is going wrong?
Thanks

i would say thats about right for the immobilser drain.as the immobilsers warning led is lit up when its turned off.it should be ok with a new battery if its charging ok check the voltage across the battery terminals in d.c while its running it should peak at about 14.4 volts even with the lights on.
