i have a potterton profile 50e gas boiler thereis a fault in the boiler it wont start i have renewed the pilot ignitor but the fan runs for a few second and switches of again can you please point me in the right direction many thanks

had same fault on boiler i fixed today try cutting back the red and clear tube at fan end small air leak will cause fan to cycle on and off

I have a Profile 100e - the fault-finding chart in the back of the installation guide asks - does the fan run without cycling on and off? No - Replace Control Board - these cost about £120 - here's a link to a chap repairing his PCB for a few ££...
