Check the vent from the dryer to the wall. If that or the ducting between the wall and the outside vent are clogged with lint, the dryer will spin, heat up, and steam your clothes for hours. Need to clean or replace the tubing from the dryer and wall, or possibly contact a professional if you can't unclog the ducting. Also, birds build nests in the outside vents=>could also be the problem.
