any petrol in a diesel is bad, petrol takes out the lubricant qualities of the diesel, however, the amount you have put in maybe diluted enough to not cause damage to the high pressure pump, thus causing it to run dry, breaking up, swarf in the injectors, returning to tank and swarf then going round the whole system until it stops.....
Put diesel in a petrol, smokey, big big difference.
All in all, a 95% chance of no damage as long as you didnt run the vehicle on just the 2 litres of petrol.
