How do I repair the hose on my G4 Kirby?

The hose is torn about 2 inches above the hard plastic end that goes into the extenders. I want to know how to reattach the hose to the permanent plastic end so that I can resume using the hose.

hi, yes i have the same problem, and i do have an idea, but thought i see if anyone had a better one, two things come to mind, the first one, id try is to wrap duct/duck tape around the hose where it is broken, or buy a new hose from one of those stores that do hover spares

These hoses are a single moulded piece of plastic. The ends, as you said, are perminent. Therefore there is no practical way to repair the hose other than to wrap vinyl tape to patch it. OR you could replace the hose. The hose itself is available as a replacement part. Send me an e-mail at arctic@worldlynx.net for part information.
