Fischer/Paykel and "F9" error ?

My Fischer/paykel 1 drawer dishwasher comes up with an "F9" error - what is that? - and do I need a technician?

What model number? There is no fault code F9 listed in any of the manuals. If you are certain it is a 9 then yes call a technician because the control board must have a fault. If it is not a 9 then post the correct number back here.
