I have a 49.5cc shanghai meitian scooter that has 14 miles and has sat for 2 years.I tried to start it and battery was dead. charged battery and now have running lights but no head light and starter does nothing.Vant find manual cant remember do you have to do anything special to start it,any safety cut outs.

well make sure the side stand isnt down and then pull both brakes in and then press the start button.if its been standing that long the fuel will need draining and new fuel putting in and also the carb will need to be cleaned out and the jets all cleaned to make sure they are clear.
