If you still have enough string on the spool to be able to pull start your mower then; 1. Take off broken string off of pulling handle. 2. Then take off housing that holds spool so you can get a hold of remaining string. [Place housing upside to do this] (You can then pull out string and see if there is enough remaining string) 3. Take string and put it through the hole in the housing. Put spool back into housing. 4. Thread string through pull handle and tie a couple of knots to keep it in place. 5. You may need to rewind string on spool and flipping housing back over, put a screwdriver through top of housing to keep it from unwinding so you can put spool/housing back on your mower. If you have enough string, this should work. Test it by pull starting your mower.
