hi there, my punto has lately run hot, on the middle temp line or just above...all else normal, no water loss, no leak, any ideas before the garage try to rip me off

if after/during driving the needle is sitting at the halfway point between the C and the H this indicates the engine is up to working temp this is NORMAL POSITION the cooling fan does not really operate till higher up the gauge, but before the RED mark.
allow the engine to idle up to the hot range and see/listen that the cooling fan kicks in
