transfer video from sd card to dvd?

I have a JVC Everio S camcorder model GZ-MS120
with a SD memory card, I can view the video from my camcorder on TV no trouble, I have downloaded the video to my PC and can watch it on there no trouble, but when I copied it to DVD and played it on my DVD player it freezes for a second at each change of scene ie each time the camcorder is switched off can anyone help to rectify this problem please.
