have you checked the pump to see if it is running free (nothing blocking it).
yes there should be a filter inspection plate usualy at the bottom right hand side of the washer at the front.
It is sometimes hidden by a front cover that pulls down. If the washer is still full of water lower your drain hose and let gravity empty it into a bucket first before removing pump filter, also try blowing down drain hose incase blocked by soap scale etc .be sure to have an old towel down as pump can hold about a pint even when machine is empty, have fun
