How to remove a Broken Blade Bolt, snapped clean off?

The bolt that holds the blade to the mower snapped, leaving the stem of the bolt in the Lawn mower, and the blade on my lawn. I don't know how to remove. I'm assuming I need to disasemble the engine but don't know how. HELP

Hello, my name is Chuck Fulgham, Fulgham Machine and Tool Company (Jackson, MI). I hold numerous U.S. patents for tool kits which resolve broken bolt/stud issues 100% of the time salvaging the existing threads in under 8 minutes!!! I have sold the United States Department of Defense over 700 of my tool kit(s) in the past 2 1/2 years. For more information please visit my website: www.brokenbolt.com

If bolt isn't broken off to deep a good welder can weld a washer to it, put washer around the broken bolt and weld a little at a time to build up letting flux build up between the washer and bolt till you can weld washer to the bolt, weld another washer on its edge and let cool some then use vise grips to turn. Appears heat will loosen the bolt and rust.

Try soaking it in WD-40 or a similar penetrant, then try a little gental heatng with a blow lamp TAKE THE NESSESARY PRECAUTIONS like removing the fuel tank, old dry grass etc... if it still doesnt move you could try drilling it but if you get the hole off centre your mower will shake itself to bits!!Then its a new crank..COSTLY

Weld a bar Horisontaly to the bolt head and then strike harply with a hammer in the direction of bolt removal. ( it might be left hand thread but unlikely) VERY IMPORTANT remove the lead from the spark plug first so that their is no chance of the engine starting

drill and use easy out, use wd-40 before trying to remove
