I have two bikes, one 100cc speedfight 2 and one 50cc speedfight 2, the 100cc frame is all bent and unridable, so i decided to take both engines out of both bikes and put the 100cc engine in the 50cc frame. it all fit in ok and all pipes/cables went back correctly, i changed over the 100cc CDI unit to the 50cc frame aswel. i tried starting the bike but with no luck. the electrics and ignition on the 50cc frame were left on there but i do have the 100cc ignition cables. so to clarify i have a 50cc ignition and electrical system, 100cc CDI unit & engine. i do not have the master key for the 100cc CDI unit either. would i need to put my origional 100cc ignition system on the 50cc frame with everything else aswel?

you need everything of the 100cc one on it the wiring loom locks keys and cdi and immobiliser if you have no key for it then your in trouble.cost loads to sort out.the cdi from the 50 will not work on the 100 as the strokes are totally different the 100 has a much longer stroke as the con rod is longer in the engine and you cant just put the 50cc stator plate on the 100 engine because it wont fit it.ok
