homelite 18 inch gas chainsaw problem?

I used my chainsaw recently and during operation the chain came off. This ocurred several times and the last time I think I may have tightened the chain too much. Now my flywheel or (what drives the chain) will not move. Is this repairable?

Order a "FREE" manual from Oregon company, it will fill you in on lots of info you need to operate your saw safely.
It is a "maintenance and safety manual".

Are you sure that you placed the chain on with the teeth pointed in the proper direction? This will cause the chainsaw to overwork if in the wrong direction then.

On other thing. Take off the chainsaw brake and see if it is sieze by either the chain or the flywheel.
