how to replace timing chain micra k12?

do you have to remove the engine of the micra k12 to replace the timing chain ?

Yes agree I have tried with engine in what a pain only
The brave will attempt this what a rubbis job to do looks quite easy but it's not lol

10 hour job unbolt engine from gear box push forword remove sumps alternator timing covers then your at the chain . remember to support engine and gearbox

I am just about to replace a friends k12 timing chain and as far as I can see the engine/gearbox has to come out of the car then the two have to be split.
You have to remove the lower and upper sump to be able to remove the timing chain cover to get to the chain and crank sprocket. A fairly big job if you ask me!!
