CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, MY MONDEO 24VALVE 95 MODEL HAS FAILED IT'S MOT ON THE EMISSIONS AND I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START?? BUT I HAVE NOTICED WHEN STARTING FROM COLD THERE IS A LITTLE BLACK SMOKE ON START UP COULD THIS HELP IN DIAGNOSIS?? ANY HELP ADVISE WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED :(

most likely the engine is mis firing check all your spark plug wiring due to this normally the emission test fails. however if for other reason ur emission is high it could be that you need to do a service so air filter, fuel filter change with bit of the magical... forte fuel cleaner should do the job. a bit expensive but the bes ting in market to clean the fuel injecters. you should be able to find one on ebay..
