I have ordered a replacement indicator, headlight twin stalk unit for ford escort 1.6lxi L redg 1993. The model has a steering wheel airbag so is this a garage job? I would appreciate any advice as have no idea what job entails.

remove 2 screws securing top switch cover [they may be torx screws], then un clip -they type of hinge out -the 2 harness plugs, remove the top [1] phillips screw and lift off switch assy ,dont forget to swap flasher unit over and it helps if you put a drop of oil into holes for cover screws,as the screws cut their own thread.
