Machine will not spin?

I have overloaded my machine and now the machine wil not spin. The drum will move by hand and spin freely but not when the machine is on. It makes a whirring noise but nothing happens.

you need to check the drive belt is on the pulley's may have broken .
most (FL) machines you remove a couple of screws at the top rear of machine then slide the lid backwards to remove you will now see the pulley and the belt
