How do I replace a section of the wallboard and tiles in my shower?

I have removed the loose tiles and the section of the wall that was weak. I now need to replace them. I can probably replace the wall board without difficulty but I am not sure how to replace the tiles.

that all depends on what you have behind the tile for a wall. If you just have sheetrock then you can take out the first row of tile your are replacing and cut the sheetrock there so that when you rerock it you are hiding your joint behind the tile. Then just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get you some mastic and get after it. Keep in mind that alot of repairs like you are describing can end up being very costly to the Home Owner to the point that you could have called a professional and been in and out in no time and you are back in business
