I recently drove my VW LT46 and had a sudden loss in engine power causing me to crawl along at 10mph. I sought advice from a friend who suggested I change the fuel filter. I have done this but continue to have the same problem - any suggestions????

when ignition turned on battery light and oil pressure come on . no power to pump solenoid no power to glow plugs. if you bypass engine runs but down on power suggesting no power to engine management.could this be key or reader at ignition switch. Regards D.Green

if there is black smoke it is turbo not working check turbos v and t valve for carbon or vacume pressure to the turbo if ok check airmass meter on airfilter box and check computer box for water damage and that is on a 2,8 engine the 2,5 engine the same but it has a injector pump at the back of the motor check pump timing and then if it is white smoke check injectors and pressure+boost pipes on both engins on the 2.8 the co box is behind the gearlever and the 2,5 belowe the battry+27837468486
