what type of cooking should be used to run adiesel engine

I run my renault megane 1.5dci on a mix of 75% diesel to 25% shop bought 92p a litre vegetable oil - the car runs perfectly and my fuel bill is reduced. Will be increasing to a 2/3 to 1/3 mix as a future trial

john,the diesel engine can run on most cooking oil however you have to add white spirit to the blend for every five gallon of oil add one bottle of white spirit.im sure you know but dont forget to make sure you drain all diesel out and that includes the filter change that before you start the car.. good luck m8

it don't really matter about the oil any cooking oil will do top gear ran an old volvo on used oil mainly because it was free it needs to be mixed a chemical additive u cant just use it alone!!!!!
