I want to save an image I have which is a bitmap as a jpg file. Is there a utility in Windows 2000 which I can use to do this?

If you right click on the image and go to "edit" this should open the image in microsoft paint... from there, click "file" then "save as" and then click the pull down arrow and select "jpeg"

why not use a paint prog. such as paint shop pro. this will give you the option to save it in any format. (isay psp cos its what i use) i am sure there are loads out there. or check the net for free packages. try this:-
