Hi
The plug gets very hot and the dryer stops working - when I opened the plug the fuse was too hot to touch. Any ideas, anyone??

i do not repair appliances but am a quailified electrician and this is common with any electrical item.most cases simply need the plug top replaced however if there is evidence of pitting or arcing on the pins of the plug or the socket is burned or cracked then the socket on the wall must also be replaced hope this helps
