I can't get the top off my Maytag performa MD2300 dryer. I used the putty knife idea but the clip won't budge. I'm pushing straight in from the front, cheating a little up, then down. It's like hitting a brick wall. I know it has to be simple, but I'm obviously doing something wrong!
