No matter what make belt as long as it's for that machine.
Repaired and rebuilt upright cleaners back in early 90's never used the orginal parts too expensive and the pattern parts I got [quality ones] were equally as good including the bags. No we didn't charge for original parts.
Remove the belt and check brushroll runs free as sometimes you can get a bearing seize up.
While belt off run motor for 1 minute if runs slow stop immediately and repair shop job or new cleaner. Take note of Peccavi....on the motor.
Clear the brushroll of string wool cotton especially around the brushroll end caps.
