My suzuki sj50 starts ok then looses power and putts out. You can turn the trottle full and there is no power there. It starts up again ok, then just all of a sudden looses power and putts out. What do you suggest is the problem?

it sounds like a carburation problem ,more then likely either running weak due to a blocked carb jet or two and or old fuel or even water in the fuel,could also be a broken reed valve petal if its a 2 stroke?i have not heard of this model before are you sure its a suzuki sj50 as honda make a sa50j more commonly known as a vision met-in.how old is it?
