zafira 20.dti 2003 electrics light flashing wont start??

I have a zafira 2003 20.dti
came out to go to shops,no problem
got home parked it up ok
next morning wont start,turns over ok
but the light with the car and spanner on it comes on then flashes
never done that before
any help please??

Hi nad
tried the spare key
just the same
had new glow plugs fitted
had new egr valve fitted
just the same
going to buy a code reader for it
will post when i try it out
