When you store your unit over a season, the gas jet nozzle gets covered by a spider web. (They are attracted to the smell of the LP gas). The next time the burner lights, the web turns to glass and clogs the jet. Try blowing a blast of air at the nozzle. A common soda straw sometimes works. Worst case, you may have to replace the burner unit. (about $25.00). The next time you store your unit, leave an open container of moth balls to deter the spiders.
