hi i have a 1999 clio 1.2 and i am haveing trouble with my rear breaks .they dont seem to come off all the way and when i slowed down the other day they came on i had to put in reverse and forward till they came off the hand break is all the way up .and if i pull hand brake on when going along there is a grinding nose can you help many thanks mark

the brake linings may have become detached from the shoes which causes the drum to lock up. this is a very common problem on small french cars!

your rear lining need a service overhaul more than probably a new set of rear shoes ASAP
