My AEG Favorit 525i dishwasher is no longer spraying? I hear a humming noise but no water spraying. The water goes in and pumps out okay.

It worked well up to yesterday but not today.

A secondary question: When is it better to replace rather than repair? This AEG is 15-19 years old (it was here when I moved in). Will it last much longer if repaired?

sounds like the circulation pump has seized up.cost of pump fitted is around £130.I would personally buy a new one at this age as 7yrs is best expected life of anything at this time!
