depending on which end has come out. speedo end you need to fascia around dials. Then remove dial shroud. pull forward at an angle and you will see the end of the cable. just psh it back into place behind speedo. If gearbox end then it is likely you have a problem with the plastic worm drive. remove roll pin holding it in and pull up. try spinning the cable while its out to make sure its not boken. you will need some one to check the dial.
