Vauxhall Corsa Design - electric gearbox ?

The sign on the dashboard flashes 'F' and the gears will not engage. I had just restarted the engine using a power-pack because of battery failure.

Fault codes need to be read and fault code cleared. A bad battery can cause all manner of problems. Modern electrics could be adversely affected by jump start.
