my sky is not working keeps saying no satalite signal being recieved tried turning it off and back on checked all scart plugs and wires still not working

Sandra,

Switch off or unplug power to sky box, then unscrew cable at the back of your box coming in from sky dish. wait for about 1 minute, then re-connect cable and switch power back on. This may take about 2 or 3 minutes to find channels again, so be patient.

Could be your cable has come loose from the reciever, or your dish has been knocked out of alignment with the satellite, or the LNB is dead. Get a local dish installer to check it out.
