how can i fix my ford fiesta zetec 1.25?it is really heavy on fuel and we are only getting about 150 miles for 25 pounds in money per week.have changed air filter,spark plugs,oil,fuel filter and fuel lines.don`t know what else to do,can anybody please help?

possibly checking the suspension and the brakes, while you are at it, try to check the tracking and the steering because they may be using more fuel trying to keep the car moving. if the suspension is soft, the car is losing momentum when the car bounces. hope this helps, any Ford dealer will check for a fee but you can get it checked.

are the brakes binding? jack the car up & spin each wheel not forgetting to chock the front wheels when doing the rears!
