what have i done wrong?

just replaced the cambelt on my 53 fusion 14 tdci after tensioner pulley collapsed,it now won't start i've followed locking pin instructions to the letter but no joy its been on & off & back on i've re checked timing marks can anyone help thank you

was it running after the tensioner failed? were all the timing marks aligned after the tensioner failed? if no, then there may be some valve damage !
