How do I get rid of the word "test" on hotpoint WF860?

I cant get my washer to wash , the word "test" appears in the window all the time

Spoke to Hotpoint and you have to press on/off button and the start button together until the word test disappears and the word doff appears, if that doesnt work press both buttons as before along with the spin button altogether and it works woo hoo
