How can i remedy this i have a LG Intellowasher and i lost the manual?

I get the code DE on my machine when i try to start it, can anyone please tell me what it means

LG have an FAQ section on their website and this gives the error codes. DE is listed as meaning: Door open Error - Door switch failure - occurs when start/pause button is pressed when door is open. Hope this helps
