I am a computer dummy and I dont think I am replying in the right forum - Dear Lincoln Appliance your advice seems to be spot on about default 43 - being easter weekend I didnt expect a reply so fast and am also not able to replace switch as yet, but multi-meter tells me it is kaput! - great work cheap fix fingers crossed - will reply in correct forum if someone can tell me how, Cheers Bruce
