How do I change the oil on an Omega 42?

How do I change the oil on an Omega 42?
I have two questions.
1. Do I simply unscrew the oil lid and turn the motor upside down to empty it or is there something to be undone so the oil can drip out?
2. Do I put the new oil straight in or does the old oil need cleaning out, like cleaning a drain?

Many thanks.

Many ped mowers do not have a drain plug, dealers will suck the oil out throuht the dipstick hole, you can buy simple vacume pumps to do it this way yourself, otherwise you will have to turn the engine, to re fill it goes into the dip stick hole, do not over fill.Briggs engines take an SAE 30 oil, Honda and Kawasaki egines tend to take a SAE 1030
