how can i remove the wiper arms off my nissan almera there are on splines and wont pull off

I assume you have undone the securing nut first? Once tou have done that, use a piece of wood and a broad screwdriver to lever each one off. Lever one side of the slined pivot, then opposite until it breaks the seal.

Use a piece of rag under the wood to protect your bodywork.
