Remove the sparkplug, with plug still attached to the plug wire hold the electrode end to the motor housing, If you have spark your ignition system is OK. If you get spark, install the plug and remove the air filter cover and spray about 3 good squirts of fuel into the carb. intake with the choke open and the throttle open. Now try and start again. If it starts and runs a few seconds then you only have a fuel problem. Remove the line from the tank to the carb. and prime slowly. Do you get flow from the line if so then you will have to remove the carb. The needle valve is probably stuck and will have to be freed. That is done by removing the four bolts holding the side cover on, then gently remove the diaphragm and work the needle lever to make sure the needle valve is opening.
