psp will not play games can anyone help?

my son dropped his psp and i will now not play games, the console works fine in all other areas apart from when you insert the games cartridge, it will not load dose anybody have any ideas of what maybe wrong?

call sony if it is under warenty they will fix it i have the same problem but i did not drop it.
