What could be wrong with my Zanussi Aquacycle 1000, when i turn it on it makes noise as if its doing someting but the dial just keeps slowly going around and eventually stops and the door can be opened, but there is no water in the machine and the clothes are still dry

sounds like you may have knocked the machine of its programe in which case when it stops ticking round try and press the start button again hopefully this will cure your problem
