You're right it is tricky and you need strong fingers and another hand is useful to refit the spring retaining clamp. But it's not impossible.
Firstly remove the retaining clamp around the door seal lip and peel off the door seal. Next get hold of the inner lip and pull it off, it is held on by a circular spring band so it should pull free with a little effort.
Before fitting the new seal to the tub lip smear the lip of the door seal with a little washing up liquid, this will help you both fit it and reposition it if required after wards. Remember to make sure the drain holes are at the bottom.
Once the back lip is fitted to the tub fold the front lip through into the drum to get it as much out of the way as you can, now you have to refit the spring clamp and it is very useful to have a second pair of hands to help hold it in place as you streatch it round. After that it's just a case of fitting the front lip (washing up liquid is again useful) and outer clamp band. Best of luck
