How do you change the rear axle bushings on a renault scenic?

I have been told it is easier to buy a second hand axle, I thought this a waste as new bushings are cheaper but I have been told are almost impossible to change. Please advise.

you can buy a tool to remove the old and replace the new bushes. wont be cheap. or try to hire one.probably less trouble than another axle.
