take yellow plate off track frame on the side track and there is a large nut 27mm that has to be undone to release the grease which puts tension on the tracks . then lift machine enough to let track rollers spin using dozer blade at one end and the excavator bucket at the other.using a crowbar get somebody to track the track round and it should come off . whilst off push idler in fully with grease coming out refitting is a reverse of above but grease will have to be pumped in with a gease gun until track is just tight
