I have a 53 plate 1.4lx focus and am trying to program a 3 button key fob. When i try to enter the program mode ( ign on/off 4 times) it beeps but the red led above the clock continues to flash and not stay constant to say it`s in learn mode. I`ve tried all versions but can`t seem to get it to stay red. I want to prog another key also using the two previous keys i have as well. If anyone has any ideas i`d greatly appreciate them.!!

what do you mean by the switch?? the ignition? to pos 1 then off?? if so, have done that but still didnt work. surely you don`t have to have rear seatbelts fastened too????

have tried that but it still doesn`t work. I have fastened both seatbelts, doors closed etc. The red led above the clock still flashes and does not stay constant. any ideas??

fasten seat belts shut all doors turn key from position 1 to 2 4 times in 6 secs turn switch to pos 1 then off then got 10 secs to press and hold 1 of buttons when hear bleap its done
