immobeliser management light(car split by spanner)comes on but only after 10-15 miles and then stays on had diagnostics done and machenic reckons it's the ECU discovered yest i had little oil in the engine so toppped it up any other ideas what could b causin it....it's going bk to the garage tomorrow

Well the ecu should give a fault code that says ecu is faulty,so there should be no guessing.My corsas went and there not cheap at £800.My bmw,s went aswell and that was giving a code saying it had multi coil failure.again that was £800.Make sure it is that as theres a number of things it could be
